McDonald's at Time Square

Australian based Landini Associates have designed a three-storey McDonald's restaurant at the corner of 45th and Broadway topped with a giant billboard on Times Square in New York City. It also makes it the third largest display on Times Square. The project has a complete glass facade spanning and the restaurant itself spans 10,040 square metres having 21 order points, including 18 self-order kiosks, on the ground floor, with two floors of dining areas above. It is designed to take the mantle of flagship McDonald store. Landini Associates have taken up the role of redesigning the renowned fast-food chain and have already redesigned restaurants in almost all major cities including Chicago and Paris. This redesigning was introduced in Hong Kong in 2015. The restaurant has adopted a variety of seating arrangements in all the three floors and is complete with offering Zinc, concrete and oak tables and benches of differing heights.
