On the outskirts of Prague, Black n’ Arch, and sculptor David ?erný has designed a red shipwreck that crashes into a high-rise building. The 135-metre-high building, named Top Tower, is enveloped by the shipwreck and is anticipated to become the tallest building in Czech Republic. The tower will accommodate a mix of housing and office spaces. Inspired by climate change, the designers have imagined a future where, during an apocalypse, a shipwreck has collided with a building due to storms and rising sea levels. Prague developer Trigema has commissioned the building and the construction will begin in 2021, with the building set to take less than three years to complete. Approximately 250 apartments will be available to rent in the Top Tower, along with offices, cultural centre and shop units on the lowest two floors. A propeller’s sculpture will mark the entrance of the building, which will make it look as though it has been broken off from the submarine.
