China’s biggest architecture studio Waterfrom Design, has completed a multi-purpose building, named as the ‘Tea Community Centre’, which is hidden under a pool of water in the middle of the city. The whole building is set as a basement under a large pool of water, in which a large tree is retained in the centre of the pool standing from the basement. Glass panels are affixed around the tree at the height of the building to create a mesmerizing experience to the visitors. The interiors of the building are created with natural materials to strengthen the experience. All the main materials are made with copper details, fir wood, natural stone and rattan. Handmade ceramics also featured in the building.
