Sand dune building proposed in U.A.E

A 7,000-square-metre building in the shape of a sand dune has been proposed by the famous architects Zaha Hadid in U.A.E. The design for this building is suggested for the Middle Eastern environmental company Bee'ah  which manages the total waste management in U.A.E. The whole building is designed in the model to withstand the extreme weather conditions in the location. The shape of the sand dune is originally taken to mimic and withstand the extreme conditions as the nature itself holds it. The materials used for cladding the building is selected for their ability to reflect the sun's rays, and help control the temperature inside the building. The interior is also designed to use the maximum of natural lighting and control the optimum temperature.
