A home designed by the famous architect studio Takeru Shoji looks like a tent in the middle of the village. The whole house is of two storeys and the sloping roof extends upto the ground giving the whole building a triangular shape. The whole home is built with timber and the design has given more importance to comfort and easiness. The building holds many openings where the neighbours can stop by for chit-chat and extend any functions to the courtyard located in front of the house. The building also holds the purpose of a public gathering space as requested by the owners. So the architects designed the building in such a way that it also serves this purpose well. This building is an excellent example for simple architecture based on user needs.
