ART FEST 2K’18

A fest of art for art lovers and future architects

The first Art Fest was conducted in the year 2017for one day on 29th Dec. 2017,inside Sigma College campus. The idea behind the event was to spread the importance of Architecture course and the selection exam NATA. The participants of the events were students of different schools who were in class X, XI & XII.

The event helped all the students and their parents to identify the inborn talent and interest in the field of Art and Architecture. The various events conducted for the students concentrated more in Art.

Events conducted were:

• Poster Design
• Illustration
• Nano Painting
• Sculpture
• Fashion show
• Out of the box

The schools were contacted before and asked to send the entry for the selection round – Poster Design. The theme was “Colours of Festivals”. The best poster design submitted by each schools were selected and the students were awarded “Best Artist – Artist Vamanan Award”.

The one day event got formally opened after lighting the lamp by the Chief Guest Prof.Piriya Ram Prabhu at 10.00 AM.The Chairman Dr. James Wilson welcomed the gathering and made introductory remarks at the function. The Chief Guest gave a talk on, importance of the Architecture field and other various ideas. The inaugural function was followed by the competitions for the school students.

• Third Runner Trophy -

Also cash prizes worth about Rs. 1 Lakh.
