CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS

Christmas and New Year are being celebrated with great joy every year with various skit performances and dance programmes of the students. Christmas cake cutting ceremony is also included in the itinerary of the event. The festival celebration ends with a special Christmas Karol and dinner.

ONAM CELEBRATIONS

Onam festival is being celebrated in a traditional way every year with various competitions including Onapattu, Malayali Manga, Maveli, Tug of War, Thiruvathira, etc. and ends with a delicious Onasadya.

PONGAL CELEBRATIONS

Pongal, the festival of farmers is being celebrated in the campus every year. On this special day all the students and the faculty members work together and participate in various events and win prizes. They prepare traditional food of the day ‘Pongal’ in groups and the best one gets the prize. Special events like uri-adi, sugarcane eating, tug-of-wars, etc., are being conducted and wrap up the function with lunch.

TEACHER’S DAY

Teacher’s Day is a special day to appreciate teachers, and it includes celebrations to honour them for their special contributions to a particular field or the community in general. Teachers' Day is celebrated as a special event in our college by offering gifts, flowers and greeting cards to their teachers.
